Fukagawa Hachiman Festival (深川八幡祭り)

The Water-Throwing Festival (水かけ祭り) takes place in the Fukagawa neighborhood of Tokyo. The mikoshi (portable shrines) and shrine bearers are doused in water thrown by spectators, the fire department, and volunteers.
