Cascade Falls, Banff

On our drive out of Banff back to Calgary, we stopped by Cascade Falls that we spotted from the freeway. There’s a short but steep hike to the base of the falls. Unlike most falls there is no pool of water at the base. The water simply disappears into the ground, so you can stand right next to the falls without getting soaked. In the winter, when the fall is frozen, its a popular ice climb.
