We wanted to spend some slow time and decided to visit Furano (富良野) on the island of Hokkaido. In the winter Furano is known for is powder. In the summer its a great place to chill and enjoy the scenery of the volcanoes at Daisetsuzan National Park (大雪山国立公園).
