It’s a Sony….RX100

Got a new toy and its from Sony. It’s been many, many years since I’ve own anything from Sony but thought I’d try their new RX100 compact camera. I’ll use it when I don’t feel like lugging around my “Really Good” camera. The Sony RX100 fits in my pocket, has a fast lens, a metal body, and shoots raw. One drawback for now, in typical Sony fashion, it saves the raw files in a proprietary format not yet supported by Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop. Some initial pics from the RX100 – except the one below, which is from my “Really Good” camera.

That Rocket Eater T-shirt is probably the greatest thing shirt I have ever seen! Don’t know what it is, but I like it…

  4. Really nice pics you are getting from the RX100. I also have the new Sony and have been posting pics for a couple of weeks on my blog — hope you will take a look. I also have a “really good” camera — bigger and heavy, plus gotta change lenses. Because of the convenience and quality of pictures I think the RX100 may become my favorite. How about you?

Nice pics on your site. For me, I think I’ll still be using my “really good” camera most of the time – its big but not too big – and I really like my “good” camera.
