Since we were in the Netherlands, we went exploring for windmills. Zaanse Schans was recommended. Its a bit touristy but pleasant. We mistakenly got off the train one station early, but it gave us the opportunity the explore the “normal” life and we came across an excellent restaurant for lunch, Restaurant De Vijfde Smaak.

We started the trip at Amsterdam Centraal Station.
