After visiting Milford Sound, we headed to Wanaka, stopping in Queenstown for dinner and then driving over the Crown Range into Wanaka.

Although there many tourists in Wanaka, its much less touristy than Queentown.  The city center is quite pleasant – vibrant but peaceful.

We made our way back to Queenstown to catch a flight the next morning.
