Walking around Kanazawa (金沢), you’ll notice dots in the middle of the road. They’re sprinklers that spray warm water to melt away the snow. I wished they could spray cold mist, although much cooler than Tokyo, it was still warm.
We had a delicious unplanned Kaiseki lunch at Zeniya in Kanazawa. Highly recommended.
After lunch we visited the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, a building designed by SANAA (Sejima and Nishikawa Architects and Associates). They’ve also designed the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Christian Dior Building in Omotesando, Tokyo.
How much safer can a city look?
I love the pictures with the water reflection.
What a wonderful set! What kind of film?
Very beautiful.
