Working from Kyoto for a few weeks in the fall, we were able to see the gradual transition of the leaves to their peak foliage color. Kyoto was more crowded as tourist start to make their way back. I quite enjoyed the tranquility that Kyoto experienced the last couple of years without the overtourism.
