We left Setoda by ferry in the morning for Onomichi (尾道). We had a couples of hour in Onomichi before catching another ferry to Tomonoura (鞆の浦). Tomonoura is known as the setting for Miyazaki’s animated movie Ponyo. Its a small town that can be explored by foot. We spend a couple hours in Tomonoura before heading back to Tokyo.
