On our first full day in Patagonia, we decided to take part in a couple of half day activities. In the morning we hiked the Aonikenk Trail (Hunter’s Trail), a trail that is rich with wildlife including guanacos, condors and pumas. We didn’t see any pumas but saw numerous guanacos carcasses resulting from puma attacks. The trail led to ancient cave painting by the indigenous Aonikenk.

After lunch – the beets risotto was delicious, we took a horse ride around Laguna Negra.
