The plum trees in our backyard were in full bloom for a brief time – its spring.  Our new house makes you much more aware of the seasons.  Spring brings back the leaves to the plums and crape myrtles trees in the front and backyard – they were bare through the winter.

Spring turns our engawa (veranda) green from the pine tree pollen for a few weeks.

Spring brings the herons which periodically come to visit the koi in the pond for a few months – I have to put into place the motion sensor sprinkler.
