For two consecutive Aprils, we’ve been fortunate to experience cherry blossom season in Tokyo. The first year, we weren’t expecting to catch the bloom but the full bloom arrived 2 weeks late, and we arrived just in time. This year, the blossoms were a few days late, and we managed to catch the tail end of their full bloom. The cherry blossoms transforms Tokyo, brightening up daily life in the city.
