We spend a long weekend in Amsterdam, taking the first train out of London and changing in Brussels. When we got to Amsterdam, we found ourselves in Amsterdam Pride – one of Netherland’s largest events – and its highlight event, the Canal Parade.
We started the day at the beautiful St. Pancras station.

And onto Amsterdam on the train line that a couple weeks later had a terrorist attack that was subdued by passengers. On our trip, the train lost power on one of the tracks and had to return partway and change to an adjacent track.
