The 10 days around New Years are pretty quite in Tokyo. Many people leave the city to visit relatives and many stores and restaurants are closed for the holidays. I recently got my 35mm lens repaired, so I wanted to spend a bit of time shooting with it – plus its so much lighter than my 50mm.
