Fushimi Inari Shrine

On a day trip to Kyoto, I visited the Fushimi Inari Shrine (伏見稲荷大社) for the first time. I’ve been to Kyoto many times but never visited this shrine that’s popular with foreign tourists. The shrine, for the god of rice, is well known for its 10,000 torii (shine gates) that you pass through as you climb up the mountain.
