The only real yakitori restaurant in San Diego, Yakyudori in Hillcrest, has started serving yakitori at its Convoy shop along with ramen. A couple of new Yakitori restaurants have also opened (one being a branch of a yakitori restaurant in Yokohama, Yokohma Yakitori Kobou – near Tsuruhashi on Convoy St – this review prefers Yakyudori over Kobou).
