Tokyo Power Spot

My wife wanted to check out a “power-spot” in Tokyo. “Power-spot” (パワースポット) is Japanese-English for a location with a lot of spiritual/healing energy. The “power-spot” is in Fukagawa where you can see a Goma-daki (護摩) ritual at the Fudousan Temple (深 川 不 動 堂). Its a powerful ritual where a priest chants in front of a fire with other priests playing Japanese Taiko drums.  We sat right next to the big Taiko drum, so it was even more powerful.  Sorry no photos allowed – but I did find  their promo video:

Also right next to the temple were a few grass tennis courts – looks well maintained.
