On our way to Mammoth, we took a detour to Costa Mesa for dinner at Ikko – Free Style Japanese Cuisine.  It was our first time there.  The food was good but may not be worth the drive up from Carlsbad for the sole purpose of dinner.  We had mirugai with fresh wasabi, carpaccio of the day, crab gratin, amaebi, and uni.
