Work has begun on wrapping the house. It looks like a big present.
We’ve again entered a slow phase in construction, at least visually – the framing phase is where visual changes can be seen daily. Now that framing is complete, the less visually interesting work is being completed such as plumbing and electrical.
In that first picture it looks like the tree branches are coming through the wall. Would be great if you could talk a little more about that and what complications it might present (e.g. weather proofing around the holes for the branches, what happens when the tree grows or dies, etc.)
There are putting flashing in the holes for weatherproofing, which hopefully should be sufficient for San Diego
