Daggertooth Pike Eel Hotpot

Finally had some time to work on finishing my posts about our vacation to Japan in mid-August.

From Kochi, we headed to Tokushima – also on the island of Shikoku.  When we arrived, we met up with a local friend to have an early dinner.  We were in for a treat – daggertooth pike eel hotpot (hamo nabe).  It was delicious.  The eel was very light and the local vegetables tasty.  Just what we needed before enjoying the Awaodori Festival.
