We had friends from Japan staying with us but they stayed one night at the Grande Del Mar so they could get in several rounds of golf there.  The golf course is guests only and I got to play a round there with them.  Its a very nice course with very few people.

Nice pants and shoes – I couldn’t pull it off.

After golf we had considered going to Addison at the Grande Del Mar, which we’ve heard is very good but concluded it would be much too fancy for us commoners.

Instead we had dinner at the Market in Del Mar – one of our favorites – its more casual, even the waiters wears jeans.
