Mammoth Hot Springs – Yellowstone

We headed for Mammoth Hot Springs in the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is huge, its about 3,500 square miles (about half the size of the Shikoku island). Mammoth Hot Springs is known for its terrace formations created by hot water.

The most rare and unusual site…

And of course, ice cream.
