Well not really but all the pieces are there now, the slab foundation has been poured. The foundation still has to be waterproofed and the foundation wall backfilled.  With the slab foundation in place you can tell how high the raised floor portion of the house will be. The bottom of the steel beam is where the ceiling will be. Some will consider our ceiling to be low at 8 ft.

Next comes the noisy part, framing, with lots of hammering. Unfortunately for the neighbors, the house next door, which has been vacant for at least a year (I’m guessing speculative flipping that got into trouble), have also started remodeling so the noise level is going to be pretty high.
