The construction fence and dumpster have been removed, occupancy permits have been issued, and we’re moving in. The builder will be in for the next several weeks finishing up loose ends and the landscaping.

It’s been a year since we moved out and its good to be back. It’ll take a while to get used to the new house and figure out where to put all our stuff without creating too much visual clutter – this may be an ongoing battle between the urge to buy stuff and preventing clutter.

The floors have just been oiled so we’ll have to walk around with foot covers for a while.
