Santouka Ramen has opened a shop in San Diego. You previously had to drive up to Costa Mesa to feed on their ramen noodles. My favorite is the salt soup-based ramen with ikura rice.  The San Diego shop is located in the Mitsuwa Market in the Convoy area.  Book-Off, a big chainstore for used books/magazines/games/DVDs in Japan has also opened a big store in the same strip mall. Last time I was there a customer was trying to purchase all 110 volumes of the Golgo 13 manga series for his mother.
