Living small in a big city

The National Geographic Channel’s Man-Made show had an episode, Tokyo – Living small in a big city.  The full episode can be view on veohTV here.  Tokyo has 3x the population density of Chicago, so architects have been forced to come up with innovative solutions.  The average size of a home in Tokyo is 680 sq. ft. compared to 2,200 sq. ft.
