A short trip to Whistler for a couple days of skiing. We flew out of LAX and when we arrived in Vancouver,  it was snowing.

The skiing was good and weather turned out to be pretty good. Some sunny periods and some snow, but visibility was good in the high alpine.

At Whistler Village, there was a new Japanese supermarket, Fuji Market, featuring a Showa-era decor. They carry bentos and also serve ramen. I’ve never had luck with ramen served in places with Showa-era decor and this place was the same, the ramen was mediocre at best. The bentos were better, we bought some for our bus trip back to Vancouver.

Need to get some more skiing in…
