The first week of deconstruction is over and we’ve officially joined the ranks of the homeless. Check out the Slideshow page. I can’t get over how large the lot looks without a structure.

Even the foundation will be reused. It’ll be grinded and used for another purpose. I was surprised to see so many roots below the foundation.

An unfortunate aspects of the makeover is we have to cut down a few trees. This pepper tree was uprooting:

And these impressive juniper trees are going to be too close to the new foundation and structure, sad to see these go:
