The Acura Classic tennis tournament is in action down the street from our construction site at the La Costa Resort. Unfortunately this is the final one. The rights to this Tier 1 women’s tennis tournament has been sold and will happen next year in China. Every year this tournament has consistently attracted the top players and it will be missed. The La Costa Resort has also sold the right to the Accenture Match Play Championship golf tournament. Maybe they need extra funding for all the remodeling they’re doing.

The La Costa Resort is know for being the former playground of the mafia. Certain restaurants in the area still seem to be a hangout for former mob members.
