Took a break from work and drove up to Palm Springs to check out the Pacific Life Open tennis tournament at Indian Wells. It was the first round so we skipped the matches and made the rounds around the practice courts. The sun was brutal but the tennis was awesome.

We got to watch many of the top men and women players up close.

Just as we were thinking about leaving, we spot James Blake standing around. Then Roger appears in the distance.

The two played 2 practice sets with long breaks between change overs chit chatting. It seemed like James Blake really wanted to win those sets. Then Nadal appears and hits a few balls with Federer.

Cool hat…too bad it’ll spend the rest of its years in a glass case.
